Our Interference / Duochrome Pigments look like white pearl powder however, if you rub them onto your skin or disperse them in a wet medium, they reveal a beautiful iridescent hue.
Interference pigments consist of various layers of a metal oxide deposited onto mica particles, which is a natural mineral. Light striking the surface of these pigments is refracted, reflected and scattered by the many layers that make up the pigment. Through the interference of the reflected rays of light, a changing multitude of colour is presented, with the most intense colour seen at the angle of reflection.
How to use:
Interference Pigments should not be mixed together but used individually. Mixing them together will only produce white.
All of our weights are packed in resealable stand up griplock bags.
