We are completely against animal cruelty and the testing of cosmetics on animals. All of our products are cruelty free and we do not stock any products from manufacturers who carry out animal testing of any kind. We are PETA certified and part of the Beauty Without Bunnies Programme.
Our Mica Powders and Cosmetic Bases generally have a very long shelf life when stored in dry conditions. They must be kept at an ambient room temperature and out of direct sunlight in order to maintain their long shelf life.
The temperature/humidity of our storage facilities is strictly controlled to ensure that all of our ingredients maintain their purity and quality so that you receive our products in perfect condition. The shelf life periods quoted on our products are only valid if you continue to store them under the recommended conditions.
You can checkout using your PayPal account or debit/credit card. We also accept ApplePay.
For retail orders we do not accept Bank Transfers, Money Orders, Cheques or any other forms of payment other than those available in our online checkout.
For products ordered from our Wholesale Price List we only accept payment by bank transfer.
Minimum Order Quantity
We do not have a minimum order except for our wholesale customers, please email us on the email above for further information.
Credit Card Information
We do not store or hold any credit/debit card details as these are all handled by a third party.
Incorrect Account Details
*Address & Email: Please take some time to carefully enter your complete shipping address and to make sure that your email is valid when making an order. An incorrect email address means that you will not receive any automated notifications relating to your order nor will we be able to contact you should there be a problem.
We respond to all emails within 2 working days. If you are contacting us about your order or you have a general enquiry and you do not receive a reply from us within this time period, then we are probably in your spam box. This frequently happens particularly with spam filters such as Spam Assasin. If we can not contact you due to spam filters or an incorrect email address and your enquiry is regarding your order then we will automatically refund you and request that you remake your order.
*Telephone Number: All courier services require a telephone number, please make sure your number is entered correctly so the courier can contact you should they not be able to deliver.
*Tracking & Delivery: Our Dispatch Department will send you the tracking number for your parcel, please follow it as the tracking information will inform you when your parcel is out for delivery. It is your responsibility to make sure that someone is at your shipping address to receive and sign for your parcel. Should our carrier be unable to deliver your parcel because nobody was at your shipping address to sign for it they will leave a note and your parcel will then be delivered to one of their parcel shops from where you will need to collect it. It is your responsibility to collect your parcel within 10 days because if you do not collect your parcel from their parcel shop then it will be returned to us. We will be charged for this return by our carrier and you will receive a refund for the full value of your order but not for the shipping cost.
Additional Postal Fees
If you are having a package shipped to your place of business/work, please be sure to list the company name in the Delivery Address Info so that we can ship to you personally in care of your company/business. We can only ship to the address we are given. If we ship to the address you list and the package is returned to us, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges if this is as a result of an error you made when entering your address information or you have been unable to sign for the package for any reason. Any refused/unsigned for shipments will be billed the shipping charges.
MakingMakeup ensures all orders are carefully packed and checked thoroughly before despatch. In the unfortunate event that there are discrepancies with your order, please follow the instructions below:
- Missing/Wrong Items: Please report to us within 2 business days of receiving your order. Keep the packing slip that was provided to you within the package as we may need this to cross-check with our files.
- Damaged Items: Report damaged items to us within 2 business days of receiving your order. Please keep your original packaging materials as we will require proof of damage in order to make a claim against the carrier and the carrier may request photos.
Due to the nature of our products we are unable to accept returns of any items. Once a package has left our warehouse we can no longer vouch for the integrity of the products. If your package is returned to us unopened and in good condition because it was not delivered for any reason we will refund you for your order less the shipping charge.
Due to the ever changing nature of our product line, we do not maintain a printed catalogue. All in stock items are listed online.
